How you found out about blogs and why you started one

I first heard about blogs on a feature story on Good Things Utah.  It was a segment on food bloggers and how they were becoming the next big thing.  I started reading the blogs of the three ladies featured and it just snowballed from there.  One blog always leads to another and you can get stuck blog hopping for hours.  I still read those same three ladies blogs regularly.  (funny thing though, I don't think I've made a single one of their recipes)  Eventually food blogging led me to the Pioneer Woman who I totally love.  I even talked Candace into standing in line for hours at her cookbook signing!!  I have made a million of her recipes and have never been disappointed.

Then I found the blogs of cjane and nienie (thank you Court!).  I love those blogs and read them almost everyday.  If you don't read them you should.  Both of them are on my sidebar.

There are also the million and ten craft blogs out there.  A fav of mine is of course the blog belonging to my SIL -  D'Lea Designs.  If you haven't checked it out you should go there too.  It's also on my sidebar.

And then of course family blogs.  It seemed everyone had one but me.  And when cousins would come to visit from out of state they would haggle me about not having a place where they could see cute pics of my kids.

So I finally thought to myself.....I read a million blogs...I might as well do one of my own!  And here we are.  Ta Da!!

And because the last few posts have been missing a photo I wanted to be sure and include one here.  This is a pic of the super yummy delicious Honey Lime Enchiladas.  A recipe from a food blog of course.  It is a fantastic recipe and has become many a family favorite.  I hear the Rockwell's have this at their house once a week!!  If you haven't tried it and want to, let me know and I'll get ya the recipe.
