Happy Birthday Buddy!!

I just can't believe he is 4 years old!! It is amazing how time flies. That is so silly to say but I mean really. I was looking through his scrapbook (and photos on the computer because this digital stuff really stunted my scrappin) But I look at his darling, handsome, and sometimes naughty four year old face and when I look back at those old photos it's amazing to see those same faces have always been there.

For his birthday I surprised him with his favorite breakfast: Sticky Buns and Eggs & Bacon. He was so excited. He woke me up that morning by whispering in my ear "Mommy, I poked my finger in the sticky bun sugar, it was yummy!" We had a delicious breakfast and opened presents right after we ate. Why not right?!





Later that night we celebrated at Cabelas. We got there just in time to watch them feed the fish. That is always such a cool thing to watch. Then we headed upstairs to the shooting gallery where we got a ton of tokens and shot like crazy. Super fun!!




After that we headed to JCW's for some burgers and fries. (the birthday boy's dinner of choice) It was really good food and shakes too. I took dessert with us, bright red cupcakes. (again per the birthday boy's request) I failed to get a picture of this part. Slacker mom. But I took the cupcakes unfrosted and was busy frosting them all right there at the table. It was a fun night. When I was tucking him in bed that night I asked him if he had a fun birthday and a fun party and he said he did....that I was the coolest ever! (that was a little present to me..sniffle sniffle)
