On the morning of her birthday I fixed the breakfast of her choice which was sticky buns and strawberries. I threw in the eggs and bacon too just for extra yumminess. I decorated the table in pink and purple and even had some fun purple stemmed glasses to finish off the table. She was super surprised and happy when she saw the decor. And after breakfast she wanted to open presents just like her brother did.
Then it was off to school. Later in the day we took treats to her classroom and it was so cute to see her in the spotlight. The teacher had a birthday crown and the class sang to her. She was all smiles, it was so cute!
For a birthday party she wanted to have it at a place that is no longer in business. They would put the girls hair in an up-do and then they got to put on dress-ups and walk the run way. I had to find the next best thing so I scheduled an appointment at a cosmetology school. There they put your hair in an up-do, paint your nails and put on make up too. We invited all the girl cousins for a day full of fun just for girls.
I made a cute birthday necklace/badge that said "It's so fun to be a girl" and tied it up with ribbon and beads. They were so cute! We picked up all the girls and headed to the party. The girls had so much fun picking a hair style, the nail color and the make up colors too. They looked so cute in the chair.
They also added glitter. A lot of glitter! (Sorry about that Mom's, I didn't know they would be using what seemed like the entire supply on just our girls)
But they looked absolutely darling!!
After that we headed to get ice cream. (actually frozen yogurt) We tried this new place in Ft. Union. The concept isn't new but this location is. You choose from 16 different flavors and swirl your own. Then you head to the topping bar and pick from 50 different toppings. At the end they weigh your bowl and you pay by the ounce. The girls had so much fun here too. It was so fun to see how different all their choices were.
Here's one last photo of their super cute hair!
It was a super fun party! Thanks cousins for going with us and making this day so special for my darling daughter!!
(and a special thanks to my sister - she went with to help out and to be our awesome photographer)

Happy Birthday K! I hope you liked your present. Thanks for inviting me - I had a blast! Love, Rachael
