The kids have a blast because the RV park we stay in has a pool and then of course they always look forward to the rodeo. I look forward to it too, I guess I'm just a big kid.

All the guys play this game. I'm not sure exactly what it's called. Some sort of catch the ball and drown the other guy in the process. But it must be fun because all the men get involved and our family ends up taking over the whole pool!! Good times I tell ya.
Another fun part of the weekend is the "Guess What's?" from Gma and Gpa. My Grandma gathers some fun treasures for the kids. Then they draw numbers and get to pick a bag. Then Guess What is inside?! Always so fun to see what they will pull out.
And then the Rodeo!! The best part of the weekend for me!! I love the atmosphere, the action and the funny food. Carnival treats and rodeo hamburgers!! We have awesome seats right above the chutes. We get to see all the action and get "rodeo dirt" kicked up on us.
This part is super awesome too. This guy (Candace was awesome and posted his actual name) jumps from an airplane and parachutes into the arena with the American Flag flying in all it's glory below him. Some of our troops are waiting below to catch it. Once in the arena the National Anthem is performed. So touching, it truly is an amazing site.
Then onto the action! This is PRCA rodeo people so it's the real deal. We love Cotton Rosser and the stock he brings to this arena!! It's memories made every year. During the rodeo as each event begins my kids ask their Dad if he rode that one. It's so cute.
I just can't tell you how much I love Rodeo weekend. And I am so glad that my kids love it and look forward to it like I do.
