Day Two - The meaning behind your Blog name

When I decided to do a blog I thought it would be fun if it were titled something other than our names.  I finally decided on "We Flip Sticks" because it's a retro name for archery.  In the olden days archery equipment was primitive.  It was mostly recurves and wooden arrows.  People would say they were flippin' sticks when shooting their bows.  And because we love archery so much I thought it fit perfectly!! 

I added the line about "our fun adventures as a family through life, the outdoors and food" because we love to be together doing all those things.  Life is fun and an adventure.  The outdoors are so wonderful and we LOVE to be there together too.  Whether it be camping, hunting, fishing or just exploring we love the mountains.  And then food.  Come on!  Who doesn't love food?  I haven't posted many food recipes lately.  Summer kinda got busy and I don't use my oven as much.  But fall is right around the corner and I have a big pile of recipes to try.
